Founder & Nursery Leader
Lakera Early Years Nursery was founded by an experienced early years professional with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting families.
With over nine years of experience in childcare, including experience as a registered childminder since 2016, the founder understands the importance of providing children with safe, nurturing and high-quality care.
This experience has provided a strong understanding of children’s individual needs, child development, safeguarding, working with families and creating stimulating environments where children can thrive.

The founder holds:
MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATION
A professional management qualification supporting the effective leadership and organisation of an early years setting.
LEVEL 4 EARLY YEARS QUALIFICATION
A Level 4 qualification providing advanced knowledge and understanding of early years practice, child development and supporting children’s learning and development.
This combination of professional qualifications, practical experience and passion for early years education forms the foundation of Lakera Early Years Nursery.
I started Lakera Early Years Nursery because I wanted to create an early years environment where children are genuinely cared for, families feel supported, and learning is exciting. Having worked with children and families for many years, I have seen how much of a difference the right early years environment can make. I wanted to build a nursery that puts children at the centre of everything we do.

Lakera Early Years Nursery is the result of that vision.
The tree philosophy represents exactly what I believe about childhood. A child should never be rushed to become something they are not. Like a seed, every child needs time, patience, nurturing and the right environment. Our responsibility is to give them strong roots, provide opportunities for growth and encourage them to reach for their potential.
