Our nursery has been created to provide a warm, safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, play and grow.
We understand that choosing a nursery is one of the most important decisions a parent or carer can make. That is why we are committed to creating a setting where children are genuinely cared for, families feel welcomed and every child is recognised as an individual.
At Lakera, we combine high-quality early years education with genuine care, creating meaningful experiences that support children’s development, confidence, independence and wellbeing.
OUR STORY
Lakera Early Years Nursery has grown from a passion for caring for and supporting young children and a strong commitment to early years education.
With over nine years of experience in childcare, including experience as a registered childminder since 2016, our founder has seen first-hand how important the early years are in shaping a child’s future.
The first years of a child’s life provide the foundations for future learning, relationships, confidence, and well-being.
Through years of working with children and families, a vision developed to create a nursery that feels like more than just a childcare setting a place where children are known, understood, encouraged and supported to be themselves.
That vision became Lakera Early Years Nursery.
The name Lakera represents a commitment to creating an environment where children can put down strong roots, discover their abilities, and grow into confident individuals.
Our mission is to provide exceptional early years care and education in a safe, loving and stimulating environment, giving every child the foundations they need to flourish.
We aim to:
